Montigiani was born from Alberto Montigiani’s passion for olive oil. It is located in Reggello (Tuscany), where he was born and raised.
A rising star born in the famous production area of high level olive oil. The city of Reggello is a famous olive oil producing area. The region is renowned for producing high quality olive oil with low acidity, thanks to its altitude (300 meters) and soil properties (low limestone and high quartz content).
Due to its peculiarities, here there are some of Italy's oldest olive oil mill, which were already producing during the Renaissance, and many are still open. The most common varieties are Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino and Pendolino.
Alberto Montigiani once said, "The quality of my products is the result of the deep knowledge and love for the area where I live, mixed with wise and precious traditions, and modern cultivation and processing techniques. In fact, I have taken over the art, passion, patience, and virtues of my predecessors to take care of the olives, from the tree to the bottle.
